WE STIMULATE THE SELF-RELIANCE OF THE POOREST MOTHERS BY INVESTING IN THEIR ENTREPRENEURSHIP. OUR DONATIONS FROM THE DUTCH MARKET AND OUR RELIABLE PARTNERS IN ASIA MAKE THIS POSSIBLE.
You can support us by initiating an action to help the women in Asia set up their own business. Sponsored walks, flee or book markets, celebrating anniversaries: we are open to all initiatives.
Would you like to support us as well? Please contact us at info@microkredietvoormoeders.org
or join one of our events such as our annual Cooking Month.
In September Soroptimist Club Haarlem again organized the Haarlem almshouses bridge drive. Participants played in the ancient regent rooms mostly for honor, and some for the prizes, which were made available by entrepreneurs from the region.
The Soroptimist Club has the mission of improving the position of women and children worldwide. A mission closely linked to the original mission of most almshouses ánd of course to Microcredit for Mothers.
Microcredit for Mothers was Rabo Private Equity’s charity during the 'Dam to Dam walk'. Together with IHC Merwede and Iddink Groep, two of the companies it invests in, Rabo Private Equity took part in the 'Dam to Dam walk’s Business Run'.
Thanks to the participants of the Business Run, we received a generous donation.
Zonta Zwolle support Microcredit for Mothers for several years now. Every year they organize a special fundraising event, the Zonta White Dinner. Everyone bring their own food, drinks, plate, cutlery and glas and Zonta take care of the remainder.
In May 120 guests came together to join their own prepared dinner in the historic mill De Hoop in Oldenbroek.
The revenue of the White Dinner was doubled in the end and Microcredit for Mothers received a splendid donation of more than EUR 16.000.
Donate 2% of the yearly profit to Microcredit for Mothers. Besides this they organize events on a regular base like a special month in which all therapists have donated the revenues of one or more chair massages to our foundation.
