Organize a fundraising event
You can get your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers involved with Micro credits for Mothers by holding a special fundraising event. Getting involved is easy and we have created a brochure to help you. Do not hesitate to ask us how you can help via our contact form.
Some great ways to donate:
- Birthday coming up, but you have the feeling you already have every thing?
Ask for donations to finance a bike, sewing machine or cow.
- Spring-cleaning and tired of all that junk in the attic?
Organize a garage sale.
- Do you work in a restaurant or café?
Ask your boss and your customers to add 1 euro to each receipt. Or sell an extraordinary Cafe Latte for just a bit more.
- Planning to run a marathon?
Why not make it a sponsor run?
- Are you part of the editorial team for school newspaper, local newspaper, or company newsletter?
Write an article about us.
- Do you work in a school or sports canteen?

Fund raising event: Anny a.o. 2006
Same as last year, Anny and some friends organizeed a garage sale in their neighbourhood, and donated the content of their attics. Almost 300,- euros were collected. |
Fund raising event: Ramses and Gérard, Winter 2005/06
Ramses and Gérard organized a big party with bands and theatre and asked all their guests to donate to Micro credits for Mothers. |
Fund raising event: Jan Posthumus, Autumn 2005
Jan asked family, friends and colleagues to be his marathon run sponsor. He earned over 300 euros for Micro credits for Mothers and made sure 100 people learned about us.

Fund raising event: Judith Koppens, Summer 2005
Judith presented her new book and asked all guests to not buy her flowers or wine but donate money to Micro credits for Mothers instead.

Fund raising event - Anny Sie and friends, Spring 2005
Anny and her friends organized a flea market in their community and she donated her entire sales. At the same time, their entire neighborhood is now aware of Micro credits for Mothers.

Help the foundation
We welcome all help for the Micro credits for Mothers foundation. To us the foundation is a network of women here who support women in Asia. Not just by donation money but also by putting in your energy, knowledge, and experience. If you want to help, pleas let us know via the contact form. We could definitely use help with the following:
- Design a downloadable gadget representing the gift of a sewing machine or cow.

- Financial knowledge.
